We Tried the Mega Mega Fatty Salmon Bowl at Naniwa Donmaru in Kofuen Nishinomiya | Nishitsu Gourmet

Introducing restaurants visited by Nishitsu’s gourmet writer in our Nishitsu Gourmet series.
This time, we visited a seafood rice bowl shop just a 5-minute walk from Hankyu Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi Station:

“Naniwa Donmaru” (*ゝω･*)ﾉ

Naniwa Donmaru is takeout only.

In front of the shop, there are delicious-looking seafood bowl menu items lined up everywhere ♡

They’re all 500 yen (excluding tax), so you can choose your favorite seafood without worrying about the price!

Apparently, the best-selling item is the daily special bowl.

This time, I had one of the daily specials, the “Mega Mega Otoro Salmon Bowl” （๑´ㅂ`๑）munch munch

Wow!! There’s so much fatty salmon ♡

It really lives up to the “mega mega” name!
The salmon is spread all over the bowl.

It’s so rich and melty, the salmon just melts in your mouth!

This time I had the regular size,
but they also offer extra rice, extra toppings, and a special large size with both!

First-time visitors can get a point card too ( ⁎ᵕᴗᵕ⁎ )

It looks like if you collect points, you can get a large size at a discounted price.

The famous comedy duo “Gin Shari” also apparently came here for a feature, and they tried the “Donmaru Bowl” (500 yen excluding tax)!

There aren’t many takeout seafood bowl shops around, so if you’re curious, definitely give it a try♪

They also apparently offer a student discount, so students should check it out too!
