The hospital is expected to close on Wednesday, April 30. Outpatient services will end on Monday, March 31.

Kumano Hospital opened in Showa 34 (1959) and continued providing medical care for 66 years while staying closely connected to the local community. In later years, it seems they also put effort into nursing care, operating as “Kumano Long-Term Care Medical Facility” as well. Many people in the area have likely been helped by them.
