It looks like a raccoon about 1 meter long was spotted in front of the Life Nishinomiya Ashihara store currently under construction in Ashihara-cho.

At around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, one raccoon approximately 1 meter long was spotted on the street near the north side of 8 Ashihara-cho, Nishinomiya City.

1 meter?!
The raccoon spotted this time was apparently quite large, measuring about 1 meter in length.
It was reportedly seen at around 11:30 p.m. on the 21st.
(There’s no particular meaning behind the blur)
According to National Geographic’s animal encyclopedia, raccoons are usually about 60 to 95 centimeters long, so this one does seem pretty large.
They also weigh around 2 to 10 kilograms, so if it was 10 kilograms, that would be pretty scary.
By the way, 1 meter is about the size of a baseball bat.

This is currently the site where Life is being built, so maybe the raccoon came to scout it out too. At 1 meter long, it’s practically boss-level.
Since it was spotted at 11:30 p.m., late at night, chances are you won’t run into it very often.
But if you do come across one, it could be quite dangerous, so if you see a suspicious animal, it’s safest to move away quickly.
