It seems the reason is that customer visits and sales during Golden Week far exceeded expectations, so the store will be closed for 2 days on Tuesday, May 12th and Wednesday, May 13th to reorganize their operations.
They also had a temporary closure last month in April, but it seems the store is still incredibly busy~
According to the post, this single Nishinomiya location is generating sales equivalent to about 3 of their stores in Himeji combined😳
Apparently they had originally hired a research company to create sales forecasts, but currently sales are running at about 3 times the forecast. It sounds like Golden Week pushed things even further beyond expectations~
While they are working on increasing staff, it seems the temporary closure was necessary again due to the need to secure days off for employees, procure products, and ensure stock availability for their other stores.
