I can already hear all kinds of reactions like that, but there is a deeeep reason behind it.

When I try to search for “にしつー” in the Safari browser app
, something comes up.

Has anyone seen this before?
Personally, bookmarking things is a hassle, so I usually search and then open the Nishinomiya Tsushin page.
But every time I search for “にしつー,” this bird called “ニシツノメドリ” shows up!
I’ve thought, “This bird again,” hundreds of times. No, thousands of times.
It’s a bird with a pretty intricate design.

So, we’ve decided to make this bird Nishinomiya Tsushin’s image character, “Nishi2-dori”.
It apparently lives along the coasts of the Arctic region, so it has absolutely no connection to Nishinomiya.
But it does have a connection to Nishi2. Probably.
I’ve gotten used to seeing it, and I think a fair number of readers have seen it too.
So please continue to support both “Nishinomiya Tsushin” and “Nishi2-dori” this year!
