LaLaport Koshien has a dining area called “Food Stadium,” and inside its food court there’s also a shop serving roast beef bowls.
That shop is Roast Beef Bowl & Steak “BLOCK,” which we’re introducing this time.
It’s apparently operated by “DB Co., Ltd.,” a company that runs a variety of meat-focused restaurants in Osaka and the Hanshin area. Since this is a roast beef bowl from a meat specialty shop, we were looking forward to trying it.

Roast Beef Bowl & Steak “BLOCK” Food
This is the “Roast Beef Bowl (L size)” (1,180 yen).
Here’s another shot from a different angle.
It looks generously portioned at first glance.
There are three sizes: “S,” “M,” and “L,” so I think a wide range of people, including women, children, students, and older customers, can enjoy it.
For an adult man, this “L size” is probably just right.
The roast beef here is thinly sliced, and I’d say it’s cooked a bit more thoroughly.
The sauce is made with grated onion, giving it a tangy flavor with the sweetness of onion added in.
The surface of the rice is covered with roast beef, with even more roast beef piled on top. As you eat, you can gradually mix the sauce and egg yolk with the meat, so it’s a bowl where you can enjoy the way the flavors change.
Since it’s in a food court, it’s easy to stop by casually, but the taste really does feel like roast beef from a specialty shop. It was very good.
