In the “Best Places to Live Along Train Lines Ranking 2019 Kansai” conducted by Daito Trust Construction Co., Ltd., all of the top three were Hankyu lines, and every one involved stations in Nishinomiya.
No. 1 was the Hankyu Koyo Line, the section from Shukugawa to Koyoen.
No. 2 was the Hankyu Imazu Line, the section from Imazu to Kotoen.
No. 3 was the Hankyu Kobe Main Line, the section from Nishinomiya-kitaguchi to Kobe-sannomiya.

Good access to Kobe and Osaka, along with a positive image, seem to be the common points that earned high ratings.

There have been all kinds of rankings coming out recently, and Nishinomiya has placed near the top in quite a lot of them. Perhaps because more and more data is showing Nishinomiya as an “easy place to live,” the population is growing so much that we’re even hearing talk of schools being packed beyond capacity. Hopefully the growth spreads out in a nice, balanced way.
