Pork Belly Ginger Set Meal at maruku.cafe Near Hinoke Park [Nishitsu Gourmet]

I tried the pork belly ginger pork set meal at “maruku.cafe” near Hinomiike Park.

“maruku.cafe” will mark its 7th year this September.

Sadly, it seems they’ll be closing at the end of this June, but it’s such an adorable cafe, so if you’re interested, definitely go check it out.

Personally, when it comes to ginger pork, I’m on Team Pork Belly, so this made me really happy!!

When you think of ginger pork, are you Team Pork Loin? Or Team Pork Belly?

By the way, when I first started cooking, I thought “pork belly” meant pork that had been cut into scattered pieces.(So embarrassing)

The pork belly wasn’t overly seasoned, and the balance was just right. It was tasty enough that I enjoyed it all the way to the end without getting tired of it.

And there was canned “pineapple” in the salad!!

The sweet pineapple worked like a little accent in the salad, and it really made me think, cafe meals can teach you a lot.

After the meal, I had one of my favorite milk-based drinks.

Topped with sunflower honey.

Sweet milk with honey made me go “ahh.”

It was the kind of taste that gently wraps both body and soul.

Stylish little goods are arranged with great taste.

Apparently, the charming owner collected them little by little as part of her hobby.

I couldn’t help thinking, “I know this book!” when I saw “Momo.”

They also had magazines, picture books, paperbacks, and more, so this is a perfect cafe for relaxing on your own.
