We wasted no time checking out the Chinese diner “Shin-Shin,” which just opened last month.
It originally operated on the northeast side of the station as a ramen shop called “Nishikita Ramen Hyonna Koto kara Hajimemashita,” but it has since relocated and become a restaurant serving Chinese dishes in general.
This time, we stopped by during lunchtime.

Chinese Diner “Shin-Shin” Food
There are various lunch menu options, but I decided to try the new “Seafood Mazesoba.”
This is the “Seafood Mazesoba (regular)” (950 yen).
Normally it is 950 yen on its own, but at lunchtime, a small side dish and rice are included for the same price.
Rice refills are free.
The small side dish was this “dressed steamed chicken.”
It’s something like bang bang chicken.
It’s seasoned in a way that really makes you want rice, and honestly, you could eat quite a bit of rice with just this alone.
And here is the “Seafood Mazesoba.”
As the name suggests, the soup has a strong seafood-based broth, with crushed nuts and the aroma of yuzu peel adding a nice accent.
The toppings are fairly classic, including roast pork, egg, shredded white leek, and nori, but the soup really stands out and is very tasty.
Recommended for anyone who likes seafood-based flavors.
