Impressive Point ① It Looks So Easy to Shop Here!
Previously, the 2nd floor had the food court and daily necessities, while cosmetics and clothing were on the 3rd floor. After the renovation, everything has been packed together on the 2nd floor!
※Unfortunately, the food court is gone.
Since the 3rd floor is no longer used, the sales floor area is smaller, but having everything on the same floor makes it much easier to find products〜!
Not having to go back and forth all over the place is honestly really helpful〜😌
The clothing section has a bit of an apparel shop vibe😊
I found something that really caught my eye😂
“Mom’s Pillow” and “Dad’s Pillow,” 4,400 yen each (before tax)… somehow, they look pretty good✨
Impressive Point ② Even the Cash Register Area Looks Stylish Now!
The 2nd-floor registers are unified in a wood × black look. Even this area has transformed into something stylish〜♪
I feel like the carts and baskets were already black before, but now they fit in perfectly✨
The bagging tables are separated for each person, with splash-prevention sheets installed! Infection prevention measures are solid too🙋
Impressive Point ③ There’s a Gathering Space!
This was the point that impressed me the most!!
There’s now a “Tsudoi-ba Waninare” gathering space that anyone can use〜！
There are restrictions because of the COVID situation, but places like this are really helpful for moms with small children〜😊
You can also use free Wi-Fi. If you get tired while shopping, you can take a little break〜😊

Once COVID settles down… it would be great if this space could be used for all kinds of things!

Next to the plaza, there is also a meeting room with a kitchen.
Apparently, the partition doors can be opened so it can be used together with the gathering space!

A lot of pet shops are mostly full of dog goods, but apparently, in the past few years, the actual number of pet cats has become higher than dogs〜🐱
Maybe reflecting that trend, they have a great selection of cat goods!
We have a cat at home too, so this is helpful〜♪

Final Thoughts
Just like the 1st floor, the atmosphere has completely changed the image of Co-op, with lots of little touches that make shopping more enjoyable!
And then there’s Tsudoi-ba Waninare! While mom shops on the 1st floor, dad can wait there with the kids, or you can take a short break when you get tired from shopping… just having a space like that is incredibly convenient〜.
The 1st floor of Co-op has really become a “supermarket worth going out of your way for,” hasn’t it〜！I enjoy stopping by on my way home too〜！
