A silver egg-like object has appeared in the park area at Shin Nishinomiya Yacht Harbor.
This article is brought to you by foot treatment clinic “GenkiStyle,” a supporter of Nishitsu.
A few days ago↓

(Thanks for the tip!)
And yesterday, 12/17↓

Here it is on the map↓
The address is 4-16 Nishinomiyahama, Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture.
It’s located by the Hanshin Bus “Marina Park Minami” stop↓

If you look closely, there’s something written under the object

It turns out this object is a monument commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Nishinomiya Junior Chamber.
Many of you may still remember the fireworks festival held here this February. Past articles about the Nishinomiya Fireworks Festival
This time as well, it seems the monument was created with the hope of raising disaster prevention awareness.

We asked Yasutaka Fujita of the Nishinomiya Junior Chamber about the origin of the monument’s shape.
To sum it up:
Circle = co-creation and peace
Mirror surface = a mirror reflecting yourself and the people around you
Scenery = looking at the sky reflected around you
Past = never forgetting those affected by disasters
Present = doing our best at what we can do now
Future = preparing for the future and passing it on to later generations
These six ideas were the inspiration.
That’s what he told us.

Even though the protective film is still on it, Nishinomiyahama’s beautiful blue sky and even I are reflected perfectly!
The unveiling ceremony for the Nishinomiya Junior Chamber’s 70th anniversary monument will apparently be held from 11:00 on December 19.
