Across the street is the second parking lot for a funeral hall called “Yuai Hall.”
If you head this way, you’ll find the “tobidashi-bo” traffic safety figure we introduced in Nishinomiya Photo, and if you keep going, you’ll reach Route 176, where there’s an ESSO and ENEOS on the corner.
In the opposite direction is Heisei Bridge over the Arima River, as well as the Yamaguchi police box and fire station, leading toward Yamaguchi Elementary School.
Will It Be a Home-Care-Related Welfare Facility?
The project owner is “Kishokai Medical Corporation,” which operates a home-visit nursing station attached to a neurology clinic in Kawanishi City.
The building will be one two-story structure, with parking for three cars.
It’s not entirely clear, but it may be a welfare facility related to home-visit nursing.
Completion appears to be scheduled for March 20, 2020. Maybe it will open in April?
Welfare Facilities Have Been Increasing in Nishinomiya Lately
The other day, we wrote about a senior welfare facility being built in Okuhata.
On the former Asahi Beer site, a luxury senior residence called “Elegano Nishinomiya,” being developed by the Sumitomo Forestry Group, is also being built.

Also, although we haven’t written articles about them, day-service care offices have been opening one after another around Nishinomiya City.
It seems the wave of population aging is reaching Nishinomiya as well.
Finally
Japan has a long average life expectancy. The period during which people can live energetically and independently is apparently called “healthy life expectancy,” but right now I get the impression there are many care facilities for people whose health has already declined. Of course, there’s demand for them, so that makes sense.
Going forward, I have a feeling that facilities aimed at extending healthy life expectancy will also increase rapidly.
