Moms in Nishinomiya! Have you ever had worries like these about your child’s skin?
“Lately, my baby’s cheeks have been getting red…”
“Could this be a hemangioma? I have no idea what to do…”
And while you’re at it, you might be concerned about your own spots or dullness, but you just don’t have the time.
By the way, this really hit home for me(I’m dressed as a woman here, but I’m a 46-year-old dad of four), since my kids and I all tend to have skin issues.

Just 30 seconds from Shukugawa Station is “なないろ皮ふ科西宮.” While your child is being seen, you can get your own skin checked or treated too. Isn’t it kind of nice to have a clinic parents and kids can visit together? I’m a man, but I’m happy about it. I mean, I’m dressed as a woman, after all〜 lol
Here it is on the map↓
The address is 2F Amista Shukugawa, 10-5 Hagoromocho, Nishinomiya.

What especially surprised me was that they handle hemangiomas and skin problems specific to babies and children. A clinic with pediatric dermatology is pretty rare in Nishinomiya.

They use the latest laser equipment for treatment, with gentle methods suitable for baby skin. Actually, my daughter has a birthmark on her forehead, so I really felt howありがたい it is to have a place where you can ask about things like that〜

And the director is Dr. Nakamura, a female doctor. She’s super open and easy to talk to, and even when I asked a simple question like, “Should I get laser treatment for this spot here?” she gave me a very natural and honest answer: “If it doesn’t bother you that much, I think it’s at a level where you don’t need treatment right now.” You can kind of picture the vibe, right?

While your child is having their consultation, moms can also use the clinic’s skin analysis service. Nishi2’s @Shachomi (46 years old @ male) gave it a try〜
- Photos + explanation only: 4,400 yen
- When combined with a treatment
- First photo session: 3,300 yen + treatment fee
- Second and later photo sessions: 1,650 yen + treatment fee

Using the latest diagnostic equipment, they check skin conditions you might not even notice yourself. To my surprise, the result was an amazing evaluation: “Your skin doesn’t look 46.” I was shocked, like, “Seriously?”…

Before Shachomi started Nishi2, I didn’t go outside much (so I wasn’t exposed to UV rays) and only worked on the computer. I was basically a shut-in.

But what surprised me was the fact that I actually had dry skin〜〜. Honestly, I thought I probably had too much sebum. But nope. Getting told that I needed to pay attention to moisturizing was a new discovery. With the latest diagnostic equipment (which measures things like skin moisture levels and texture), you can learn in detail about skin conditions you didn’t even know you had〜
After the skin analysis, in my case, they said basically just moisturizing properly would be enough. But if I wanted to improve my skin further, they suggested treatments like peeling or a photofacial〜.

For example, a peeling treatment takes about 30 minutes (it is said to remove old dead skin cells and promote skin turnover). Plus, they also advise you on skincare after the treatment, so it’s easier to keep the effects going in daily life. For moms who feel like beauty clinics are a bit intimidating, this might feel like something you can try more casually.
The clinic being just a 30-second walk from Hankyu Shukugawa Station is really nice. From pediatric dermatology to beauty care for moms, and even thinning hair and AGA for men, Dr. Nakamura has you covered. If you have symptoms you’re concerned about, go check it out. Of course, parents and kids are welcome to stop by together〜!
