It looks like a “Life” supermarket is coming to Ashiharacho along Yamate Kansen. It will be at the former site of “AUTOBACS” and “Internet Cafe Jiyu Kukan,” which closed last July.

Across the street are a Nissan dealership and a Gyomu Super that has closed and is currently being demolished.
If you go this way, you’ll see Lawson on your right and come out at the Shirogaboricho-kita intersection on Route 171.
If you go the other way, there’s EDION, and you’ll head toward Nishinomiya Gardens.

As shown in the project overview, the construction period is from May 15, 2019 to February 28, 2020, so it will likely open sometime after March 2020.
The job listing also said it is scheduled to open around spring.
It also looks like the parking lot will have space for 47 regular cars and 1 light vehicle.
It’s a large plot of land.

It’s also been quite a while since Gyomu Super closed, so once Life is completed, it should be very convenient for local residents.

2019年9月16日に前を通りましたら、大和ハウスの建物が建つ様な看板になっていましたが、本当にライフができるのでしょうか？ライフができるのを楽しみにしていたのですが┄
ちゃんとライフができますので大丈夫です。施工業者が大和ハウスのため、あのような看板が立っているものと思われます。工事もどんどん本格的になってきていますね。
