It looks like “Traditional Osaka Sushi Sane松” in the Koshienguchi Honwaka Shopping Street will be closing.
Notice↓

It appears the shop will close as of Saturday, March 28.
The reason is said to be a combination of various recent price increases, labor shortages, aging equipment, and other factors.
The shop has been in business for 24 years in Nishinomiya’s Koshienguchi area. Counting from the time when the previous owner’s parents opened a sushi shop in Takarazuka, they have apparently been operating for a total of 54 years.
Here it is on the map↓
The address is 3-10-14 Koshienguchi, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
Around “Sane松”

Across the street is Marumeri BREAD.

If you go this way, you’ll find Tenteko, Yokai Curry Made by Nezumi Onna, and other spots, leading toward Koshienguchi Station.

In the opposite direction, you’ll find Toriyoshi, SHICT, Uosora Fresh Fish Shop, Uogashi Kochan, FamilyMart, Sandwich Haruiro, and more, heading toward National Route 2.

Nishi2 has also written about the sushi at “Sane松” before. Their popular items include “Osaka sushi,” which is pressed in wooden molds and shaped into squares, as well as “fukusa sushi,” chirashi sushi wrapped in a thin omelet, and mackerel sushi. In addition to takeout, it’s also a place where you can enjoy a casual drink inside.
Final Thoughts

Sane松 was also one of the popular shops with lines during the bar events, and in recent years they helped make the shopping street more fun as the spark behind the hugely lively dinosaur event held during the pedestrian paradise. Their closing is a real shock. I also got to try their signature fukusa sushi, and it was incredibly delicious… If you’d like to have it one last time, be sure to stop by the shop.
