Just a short walk from Hankyu Kotoen Station, the after-school children’s club “Itsuzaiya” will open in April on the first floor of the apartment building built where the liquor store Daiume used to be.
After-school children’s club may not be a very familiar term, but in Nishinomiya these facilities are called ikusei centers. Simply put, they provide a place for elementary school children in grades 1 through 4 whose guardians are not at home after school due to both parents working, offering appropriate play and daily-life activities after school and during long breaks such as summer vacation to support children’s healthy development.
This will be Nishinomiya’s first privately established after-school children’s club. Here’s what the notice looks like↓

Here it is on the map↓
The address is 1-2-1 Kotoen, Nishinomiya City, Orchime Daiume 1F.
Area around “After-School Club Itsuzaiya”
Across the street is the electrical shop Hisaden↓

If you go this way, you’ll pass in front of “Coworking Space IDECOLABO” in Paseo Kotoen and come out at the railroad crossing just south of Hankyu Kotoen Station↓

If you go this way, you’ll pass in front of Thai restaurant “Isara” and reach the Nakatsuhama Line↓
Finally
Back when Daiume was there, it was a place where children would come to buy dagashi snacks. Now it looks like it will once again become a place where children gather!(^^)!
