“Izakaya Megumi” in Yokomichi-cho has closed.
(Thanks to Yasshi-san and Sasako @ Nishitsu SP for the tip.)
Here it is ↓

The standing sign that was always out front, the notice on the door, and items like the outdoor AC unit had been removed.
When we called the shop, we heard an automated message saying, “The communication device of the person you are calling is currently turned off, may be out of order, or there may be a network issue.”
According to Yasshi-san, until recently there had been a notice posted saying something along the lines of “We closed as of May 15.”
Here it is on the map ↓
The address is 2-34 Yokomichi-cho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture, Hyoju Grand Court City Hall-mae.
Around “Izakaya Megumi”

If you go this way, you’ll come out onto Yokai-suji. It’s the area where the Higashigawa River runs.

In the opposite direction is the City Hall-mae Line, and if you continue straight, you’ll reach Hanshin Nishinomiya Station.
Lastly
According to reviews, it was a cozy, welcoming place bustling with regulars, and the owner was friendly, making it a comfortable spot to visit. It was also perfect for solo drinks, and they apparently had Ladies’ Day on Wednesdays and Fridays. Their homemade dishes were said to be hearty, affordable, and offered in a wide variety. It’s sad to see it close.
* Yasshi-san and Sasako @ Nishitsu Supporter, thank you very much for the information!!
