I
was out running again today, making my rounds around Nishinomiya!
As I was about to cut through Tosan Park on Youkai-suji… huh?
No way?? Even though it’s still the chilly skies of February!? (The photos were taken in late February)
Let’s take a closer look.

Wow! The cherry blossoms are already blooming!
It instantly put me in a HAPPY mood♪

What a wonderful surprise. In running terms, it’s a bit of a “false start(?)”, but it really brightened my mood and made everything feel more cheerful!
That’s Nishinomiya’s cherry blossoms for you! With so much gloomy news around, it felt like they were trying to bring smiles to residents a little early♪
Looking closely at the stone monument by the entrance, it says “Famous Flower Spot: Sakura”♪
Why not stop by Tosan Park yourselves?
Location of Tosan Park
10-29 Ishizai-cho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture
Finally
Apparently, there are currently as many as 906 songs with “sakura” in the title!
By the way, the three that immediately came to my mind were Ketsumeishi’s “Sakura,” Naotaro Moriyama’s “Sakura,” and Masaharu Fukuyama’s “Sakurazaka”! How about you? ^^
