In the 2019 Kansai Most Desirable Places to Live Ranking, “Nishinomiya-kitaguchi” took 1st place for the 7th year in a row!
It looks like “Shukugawa” came in 5th, and “Nishinomiya” ranked 20th. “Koshien” was 58th. Four stations in Nishinomiya made the ranking.
By the way, Umeda was 2nd, and Kobe-Sannomiya was 3rd.

Hyogo Prefecture’s Nishinomiya also proudly takes 1st place in the Most Desirable Municipalities Ranking!
Believe it or not, they also announced a Most Desirable Municipalities Ranking, and Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture came in 1st there too,
By the way, 2nd place was Osaka City’s Kita Ward, 3rd was Kobe City’s Chuo Ward, 4th was Kobe City’s Higashinada Ward, and 5th was Osaka City’s Chuo Ward.
Nishinomiya really must be an attractive city to live in, even beating out Osaka and Kobe.

This ranking is based on the “SUUMO Most Desirable Places to Live Ranking 2019 Kansai Edition,” compiled from an online survey of people living in the Kansai area in 2019 (Osaka, Hyogo, Kyoto, Nara, Shiga, and Wakayama prefectures)! Differences from Last Year, 2018
Shukugawa was 6th last year and is 5th this year. It moved up one spot.
Nishinomiya was also 20th last year, so there was no change. Koshien moved up one spot, from 59th to 58th! We looked into last year’s score, but couldn’t find it.
Neighboring Cities Are Also Doing Well
Several cities neighboring Nishinomiya City also made the ranking. Three stations in Amagasaki City made the list.
Takarazuka was 11th, Ashiyagawa was 17th, Amagasaki was 21st, Itami was 47th, Mukonoso was 48th, and Tsukaguchi was 53rd.
It really makes us happy that so many people in Kansai want to live in Nishinomiya. Nishinomiya Tsushin is truly fortunate to be able to run an information site for such a beloved city!
