However, simply passing through is OK. In other words, what’s prohibited is the kind of hanami that involves parties and gatherings.
Hanami is prohibited from April 15 (Mon.) onward
From April 15 (Mon.), when the cherry blossoms are expected to have fallen, “party-style hanami” is prohibited. Similar activities are also prohibited, so please be careful.
Security guards will be patrolling for the time being.
Use of fire, such as barbecues, is prohibited
Activities involving fire, such as barbecues and portable gas stoves, appear to be prohibited. Above all, they are dangerous, and they are also said to be harmful to the cherry trees.
There are one-way walking areas
During the hanami season, weekends get extremely crowded, so one-way walking areas will be set up.
