On March 9, Nishitsu’s “running reporter,” known as “Sensei,” was appointed by Aichi Prefecture as an event supervisor for the “Asian Games” to be held in 2026!
The Asian Games are apparently what you might call the Olympics of Asia.
Here’s the official event website↓

The homepage is completely covered with “GPS ART RUN,” supervised by Sensei(as of March 10)
Wow, we’re pretty excited that the GPS art by Sensei, the pride of Nishitsu Nishinomiya, is going to appear in an international commemorative event.

They’re currently publicly recruiting 11 collaborators from within Aichi Prefecture and 11 from outside the prefecture.
Their mission is to help make the commemorative event, held 2,000 days before the Games, a success.
Also, runners from overseas will apparently be taking part too. (If you’re thinking, “Maybe I’ll join,” check out the “GPS ART RUN” page)
And from Nishitsu’s point of view, this next part is important↓

Look, look, looook.
It clearly says “西宮つーしん” right there.
You could also say this whole article was just so we could point that out <m(__)m>
By 2026, all our articles might be in English, and the company name might be “Nishi-tsu.” Actually, we did try that once
Finally
Oh, and apparently March 9, the day of the press announcement, also happened to be “Sensei’s birthday.”
If you’d like to celebrate, instead of tossing him a tip, please give him a “Hee” below(up to 5 “Hee” per person). Sensei would be delighted if you sent him a few “tossed Hee.”
