The road where Heki Heights stands is, in a way, one of the main roads in Koyoen.

This is the road where the main gate of Koyoen Elementary School is located. Koyo Kindergarten is also here.

If you head east along this road, you’ll reach the road that leads to the six-way intersection. (You don’t see six-way intersections very often, do you?)

The road where Heki Heights is located is famous as a pilgrimage spot for the anime The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.

Construction starts in June 2020
Construction is scheduled to begin in early June 2020, with completion expected at the end of March 2022.

The new building will be five stories tall. The existing building is four stories.
Finally
Demolition will probably be starting soon. It feels a little sad when a familiar view that’s been around for so many years disappears.
