Paper-thin traffic lights. We found them at the Kamitenjinbashi intersection near the City Hall parking lot.
Thin. Way too thin.
It seems they’re becoming more and more common in Nishinomiya, too.
A quick search suggests that Osaka Prefectural Police first installed them in Osaka City’s Tsurumi Ward on June 22, 2017.

These appear to be new LED traffic lights that use less than one-seventh the power of bulb-type lights and last more than 10 times longer. They’re apparently 6 centimeters thick.
