Construction work is happening at the former EDION site in Higashimachi along Rinko Line.

When we went to take photos, it didn’t look like anything was going on at the time, but…

It looks like work is underway to remove the fire water tank on the property (an underground tank used to store water for firefighting).
At the top, it says “國産酒造” 🍶 That’s a sake brewing company with its headquarters very close by, known for brands such as “Nada Jiman.”

The address is 1-12-15 Higashimachi, Nishinomiya, Hyogo. EDION Nishinomiya Minami used to be located here.

By the way, this site is planned to house an auto repair shop and retail store for imported car dealer “Hakkō Automobile Industry”. Construction is scheduled to continue until around the end of April 2026.
