It looks like the person in charge of Maxell’s Twitter is from Nishinomiya.
This article is brought to you by “GenkiStyle,” a foot treatment clinic that supports Nishitsu.
Maxell is famous for Japan’s first cassette tapes and dry-cell batteries. More recently, it has also been well known for CD-Rs and other recording media. Maxell’s Twitter account has over 100,000 followers.
There was a tweet where Nishinomiya Loft recommended Maxell earphones, and in it, Maxell’s social media person said they were a “Miyacco” until they became an adult. It seems they lived somewhere around between Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi and Koshienguchi, and was talking about some very local Nishinomiya stuff.

Apparently, they transferred from Fukatsu Elementary School in sixth grade, and the new school was in Koshien. I thought it was a little unusual for the person behind a company’s Twitter account to suddenly start talking about Nishinomiya, so I decided to write about it. If we come across more discoveries like “There’s a Miyacco here too!” we’ll cover them as well.
