Eligibility for the Storks Cheerleaders
The linked page says they are recruiting members to be active during the 2019-20 season as the official cheer dance team of the “Nishinomiya Storks,” the “Storks Cheerleaders.”
Here’s a summary of the eligibility requirements:
- Must be 18 or older
- Must have at least one year of dance experience ((cheer, dance, ballet, baton twirling, rhythmic gymnastics, artistic gymnastics, breaking, acrobatics, etc.)
- Must be able to attend all lessons (planned for Tuesday and Sunday nights each week) and games
- Must not belong to another team or a specific production agency
- Must be someone who will help energize the B.League and the Nishinomiya Storks
Apparently, gender does not matter!!(Well, yeah, I mean, you know.)
To apply, you need to fill out the required information on the application form and send it by mail. Details are available on this page of the official website. (The application form is there too.)
The deadline is June 6, and applications must arrive by then. Since today is June 4, it’s cutting it very close. Send it by express mail.
Activities
If selected, members will apparently take part in the following Storks activities:
- Cheering and performing at home games
- Various events
- Media appearances
- Volunteer activities
The next season will be an important year for the Storks as they aim for promotion to B1. If you get to experience that atmosphere firsthand, it must be pretty special.
Lastly
If you’re a Storks booster (fan) with dance experience, this is probably a tough decision. Though there isn’t much time to hesitate.
