Higashi-Naruo to Suzaki on the Hanshin Mukogawa Line is only 400 meters
The Imazu – Kusugawa section on the Hanshin Main Line is also quite short at 0.6 km.
But the distance between Higashi-Naruo and Suzaki on the Hanshin Mukogawa Line is 0.4 km. That’s just 400 meters.
This is also noted on Wikipedia, which says it is the shortest section across the entire Hanshin Electric Railway network.
By the way, the shortest distance between stations in all of Japan seems to be on the Matsuura Railway in Sasebo City, Nagasaki Prefecture. There’s always someone better, isn’t there?

Compared with JR and Hankyu, Hanshin has lots of stations, and the distances between them tend to be shorter. By the way, it’s kind of amazing that Imazu to Mukogawa, which has five stations, is 3.4 km, while Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi to Mukonoso on Hankyu, with only two stations, is 3.3 km.
