K’s Denki Sign Is Up in Hamacho and the Hourly Pay Is Really High

Hourly wage: 1600 to 1700 yen — I don’t think I’ve seen that before, but is this about normal for electronics retailers?

It looks like this is only for the opening month and the following month, but even after that ends, it’s still 1400 to 1500 yen, so I think that’s pretty high. Even a 5-hour shift would come to around 7500 yen!

In Closing

K’s Denki apparently doesn’t use a points system, and instead offers cash discounts. If you don’t want to add yet another point card, or just find them a hassle, that might be nice and straightforward. It will probably open sometime around March, but once we know the exact date, we’ll let you know, so be sure to keep checking Nishitsu.
