Today, Sunday, March 9, Nishi2 readers Yummy Yummy and Koharu Sanjuro went to check out the 9th Haru Matsuri 2025 at Kabutoyama Forest Park.

Oh! A map. Looks like there’s all kinds of stuff going on.

Forest Play Area! There are hammocks and everything. Looks fun.

Kobito Pan. It has this simple, rustic feel that really suits Kabutoyama.

A thick Japanese omelet hot sandwich? You know that’s going to be good.

This is called treeing, where you climb a tree using ropes. Looks fun. But isn’t it scary?

Looks like there were all kinds of workshops too.

They’re even giving out juice boxes! Nice.

Apparently, if you rode the bus and showed your ICOCA card, you could get a lantern. Lucky.

There are lots of events kids would love.

And dependable favorites like yakisoba and French fries too.

They were selling vegetables as well.

Kabutoyama Forest Park has such a nice atmosphere, doesn’t it?

They even had natural candy.

There really are so many stalls.

Looks like they had nature observation activities too.

There was also a performance stage, and it seems like it really got the crowd going.
It’s only until 3 p.m. today, and it’s 2:26 p.m. now. If you live near Kabutoyama, could you still make it? Probably not.
