The one in front says “Sanda.” It’s a Sanda City manhole cover.
The bird design looks like something that might show up in Pokémon. Apparently this bird is named “Kippy” and is Sanda City’s mascot character.

This one’s fine.
It’s a Nishinomiya manhole cover.
The frog is cute. The cherry blossoms are cute. Nishinomiya manhole covers are cute.
So why there’s a Sanda City manhole cover in Nishinomiya remains a mystery.
