This Year Marks the 44th Nishinomiya Shimin Matsuri
It looks like this year will be the 44th Nishinomiya Shimin Matsuri.
The first one was apparently held at Nishinomiya Shrine in September 1973.
This year’s venue will be around Nishinomiya City Hall, as usual.
The event will take place on Saturday, October 26, 2019, from 11:00 to 18:30.
Last Year’s Attendance Was 37,000!
Attendance in 2018 was apparently 37,000 people.

Apparently, attendance was low in 2017 because of the rain.
It feels a little sad to see attendance declining since 2015.
Since this year is the first year of the Reiwa era, I’m sure Nishinomiya City is planning some kind of surprise to bring in more visitors.
