A Waffle Specialty Shop Called “waffle Hiiragi” Has Opened Under the Hankyu Overpass in Nishida-cho

A waffle specialty shop called “waffleひいらぎ” has opened in the Sunlife Shopping Street in Nishida-cho.

According to the official Instagram, it looks like they had their pre-opening on Wednesday, April 22🧇

The address is 1-4 Nishida-cho, Nishinomiya, Hyogo. This is the former location of the Korean restaurant “ゴンベ,” and before that, the French restaurant “La petite.”

Area Around “waffleひいらぎ”

Across the street, there is a Cocokara Fine.

If you go this way, you’ll find places like QwanQwan, 空腹は最高のスパイスカレー, みやまめ珈琲, and らぁめん どろっぷ.

If you go in the opposite direction, you’ll reach Route 171.

During the pre-opening, you can apparently enjoy three items: “Liege waffles,” “bubble waffles,” and “drinks.” The waffles are topped with ice cream, cream, and lots of strawberries. Looks delicious〜🍓

This menu item is called “Bubble Waffle (Caramel Nut Flavor).” It looks like a parfait and is totally photo-worthy〜♡ They also have strawberry and chocolate flavors.

Final Thoughts

Inside, there are both counter seats and table seating, and it looks like there are seats where people with small children can relax, too. Going forward, in addition to the menu items introduced above, they also plan to offer items like kids’ plates and lunch plates with waffle sandwiches, and takeout is expected to become available as well.
