What Is the Nikkori Campaign?
If you shop with PayPay at participating stores in Nishinomiya City, you’ll get 25% back.
Here are the conditions:
Per purchase: up to 2,000 yen
Maximum cashback during the campaign: up to 10,000 yen
How to Find Participating Stores
There are two ways.
① Tap the map in the PayPay app
② The list page on Nishinomiya City’s website(if the link is broken, try here)
How to Search from the PayPay App
Open the PayPay app.

A map of your current nearby area will appear.

The map above shows stores in Ashiya because, as of October when this article is being written, Ashiya’s campaign is underway.
If you turn on “Deals,” it will probably show only campaign stores.
Stores marked with “Support” should be participating stores.(That was the case in Ashiya City)
Large Companies, Supermarkets, Convenience Stores, and Drugstores Cannot Be Used
It does not mean you can use the campaign anywhere that accepts PayPay.
Stores where it cannot be used include:
- Large companies
- Supermarkets
- Convenience stores
- Drugstores
- Stores that are not eligible
Please be careful so you don’t end up thinking, “But I paid with PayPay and it didn’t count!”
This 25% cashback campaign is mainly for small and medium-sized businesses and small-scale operators. It seems likely to apply to non-chain restaurants and smaller shops.
Finally
This initiative is apparently intended to support small shops whose sales have dropped due to the impact of COVID-19. There are also various money-saving programs going on, such as the recent ACTA premium gift certificates and Go To Eat, so it would be good to make smart use of them together. Cashless payment is easy once you get used to it, so why not take this opportunity to give it a try?
