Near the police box on the north side of Gardens, in Takamatsu-cho, there was a mysterious road with a whole bunch of one-way streets.

It’s a route that reminds you of those S-shaped curves at driving school.Though technically, it’s more of a C-shape.
Also, the “Stop” signs are placed at odd angles.
From the opposite direction of the first photo, it looks like this↓
Actually, even if you came by car from beyond the photo above (the east side), you can’t go toward the near side (the west side).
Also, there is a road on the left, between Repark and the apartment building,
but it says you can’t pass through. If you enter the road, you eventually hit a T-junction, but the road is so narrow that you won’t be able to turn either right or left. And there’s quite a bit of foot traffic too. (See it on Google Maps)
The exclamation mark on the map marks the entrance to the road that becomes a T-junction and leaves you unable to proceed.
In other words, even if you enter from the east side, it’s effectively a dead end. For ordinary people, it’s pointless.
It’s safest to interpret this as a one-way road from the west side to the east side.
Even if you enter from the east side by mistake, you can use the roundabout to return to the east side again.
So why does this road exist? Probably because there are homes along the road leading to the T-junction beyond the exclamation mark, along with their parking areas and such.
Also, mopeds and motorcycles can get through.
