What is Soup Stock Tokyo?
Soup Stock Tokyo is a soup specialty shop with the concept of “additive-free soups you eat,” offering safe soups that make the most of their ingredients.
As the name includes “Tokyo,” it originated in Tokyo.
So on Tabelog, I spotted people saying things like, “It used to only be in the Kanto area, and I wished they’d open in Kansai too!”
A One-Day-Only Curry Specialty Shop
Even though it’s a soup specialty shop, it looks like it will become a curry specialty shop only on Friday, June 21.
There will be 8 varieties
- Pork Toro Vindaloo Curry
- Butter Chicken Curry
- Non-Spicy Keema Curry with Eggplant and Minced Beef
- Summer Vegetable and Mussel Curry (new this year)
- Chana Masala (Chickpea Keema Curry) (new this year)
- Seven-Vegetable Ratatouille Curry (making its first appearance)
- Cashew Nut Hodda
- Grape Sansho Mapo Curry
For curry lovers, there are tasting sets with 2, 3, or 4 varieties.
- Curry Rice: 760 yen
- Two-Curry Plate: 926 yen
- Curry and Curry and Curry Set (3 varieties): 1,166 yen
- Curry and Curry and Curry and Curry Set (4 varieties): 1,406 yen
Takeout is also available, so if you’re with a few people, you can compare different curries too.
Do You Have Something Yellow?
For Friday, June 21 only, it looks like something good will happen if you bring “something yellow” to the shop.

Located on the 1st Floor South Mall of the Nishinomiya Gardens Main Building
The Soup Stock Tokyo at Nishinomiya Gardens is located in the South Mall on the 1st floor of the main building.
It’s near Festival Garden, where the large TV screen is.
It’s also near the entrance to the central parking area. It’s next to LUPICIA and in front of the Hakuyosha dry cleaner.
By the way, on the 1st-floor food section of Nishinomiya Hankyu, there is also a “Soup Stock Tokyo to Eat at Home” shop.
Finally
If you split the four-variety set between lunch and dinner, you could complete the lineup. I wonder how many serious challengers there will be. If you love curry, why not check it out?
