It had a reputation as an exceptionally delicious sushi restaurant despite its reasonable prices, so there must be quite a few people who are disappointed.
It had been operating for 30 years as a traditional sushi restaurant. It was open throughout the entire Heisei era. People in the neighborhood must really miss it.
