I bought a bunch of different breads from “La Baguette de Paris YOSHIKAWA”, a bakery near Hinoike Park by Kurakuen-guchi Station〜.
This article is brought to you with support from Nishitsu-supporting dental clinic “Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi Dental and Oral Surgery, open year-round ”.

I went at 10:30 on a weekday, and customers kept coming in one after another without a break. It’s super popular〜.

After much deliberation, I bought these four items〜.

First up is the must-try “Baguette Original” for 292 yen (tax included).
“La Baguette de Paris YOSHIKAWA” is an extremely famous baguette shop〜.
The owner, Mr. Yoshikawa, has won an award at the bakery World Cup, the “Coupe du Monde de la Boulangerie,” a competition where bakers from around the world compete. (Amazing〜)

It’s crispy on the outside, moist on the inside〜, and the aroma is absolutely incredible. Once you try it, you’ll be hooked. You know how people say French people walk around town while munching on baguettes? I get that feeling now. Seriously, the moment you buy it, you want to bite into it as soon as possible while it’s still freshly baked. It’s so good that I could easily finish a whole baguette by myself. After eating this baguette, I became a huge baguette fan〜♡

Next is the “Three-Cheese Bread” for 292 yen (tax included).
It uses three kinds of cheese: cheddar, Gruyère, and Grana Padano. This one also sells out quickly, so if you come across it, you’re lucky. Freshly baked, it’s just the best. (I went on weekday mornings and managed to find it twice)

Next is the “Toast Sandwich with Marinated Tomato and Cheese” for 238 yen (tax included).
The bread is spread with béchamel sauce, tomato sauce, and basil sauce. At this point, it’s basically a full dish. It goes beyond the realm of bread.

Last is the “Paris-Style Melon Bread” for 216 yen (tax included).
It’s made with brioche dough and topped with crunchy sugar (what do you call that, anyway?). The dough inside is so fluffy. I could eat any number of these〜.
