On October 1, I went to the cafe at the newly reopened Ozeki “Amakara no Sekijuan”, then bought some amazake and sweets on the way home ヽ(^o^)丿

What I Had at the Cafe at Ozeki “Amakara no Sekijuan”
Affogato ¥528 (tax included)
You pour warm coffee over soft-serve ice cream with their famous sake manju inside !(^^)!
Even though you can really taste the sake manju, it’s still soft-serve ice cream! Then, with the addition of coffee, it feels like it transforms into a grown-up dessert!
You can also eat the cone soft-serve in the cafe, and they even had rice flour cones ヽ(^o^)丿
Zenzai (with tea and salted kelp) ¥550 (tax included)
The bowl was sparkling clean, matching the shop’s renovation (^^)You could see my reflection taking the photo
There were two pieces of mochi inside, stretchy and pleasantly chewy!
It comes with slightly bitter Japanese tea and salted kelp, so eating them in turns made it feel like I could go on forever ^^;
The sweetness of the azuki beans is so comforting～(#^.^#)That “I’m glad I’m Japanese” feeling!

There are lovely paintings on display (^^)
There’s a small courtyard garden, giving the space a calm, Japanese atmosphere where you can enjoy a relaxing moment!

In addition to gift boxes, you can also buy Japanese sweets individually, one by one (^^)My hand just kept putting lots of them into the basket ^^;
Top: Sake Financier ¥167 (tax included)
It has daiginjo sake and sake lees mixed in, making it incredibly moist!
It has a gentle Japanese sake aroma, and afterward you realize, “Ah, this is a financier” (#^.^#)
Bottom: Sekiju Mochi ¥162 (tax included)
This one was newly released to coincide with the renovation!
It has an addictive chewy dough with anko insideThe texture feels kind of like that famous Kyoto a○○○ mochi!
Personally, I love the balance between the dough and the anko (#^.^#)
Amazake with Ginger ¥642 (tax included)
It has a smooth mouthfeel! Another nice point is that you can enjoy it without diluting it (^^)
For the coming season, it would be great warmed up!
