The internet cafe “NEW LEAF” in front of Sakura Shukugawa Station has closed.
(Thanks to Nishinomiya Mama for the tip!)
This article is brought to you by “Nichinoken,” a cram school that supports Nishitsu.

There was a notice posted on the sign for the internet cafe “NEW LEAF,” which was located along Route 2.
Here’s a close-up of the notice↓

It says, “Due to the prolonged impact of COVID-19, we have become unable to see a clear path forward and have decided to close. We apologize for the sudden announcement. Thank you very much for your patronage over the years.”
Here it is on the map↓
The address is Nepia Shukugawa 2F, 11-11 Kaguracho, Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture.
Area Around “NEW LEAF”
Across the street is Alfa Romeo Nishinomiya.

If you go this way, you’ll head toward Ashiya. You’ll find Au Bon Gateau Bigot and Life Shukugawa.

If you go the other way, you’ll head toward JR Nishinomiya Station. There’s Kura Sushi Sakura Shukugawa and W BROTHERS.
Final Thoughts
When we went up the stairs to the front of the shop, the windows were already covered with sheets and it had closed—so sad. Places like internet cafes and karaoke shops were directly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, so it must have been really tough. What a shame. Since it was right by the station in such a convenient location, many people may have used it.
