Here’s the fitness equipment in question.
It looks like an enlarged version of a bicycle parking rack, but… how are you supposed to use it?
I tried searching all sorts of things, but I still couldn’t figure it out.

By the way, in the back alley one block to the west, there’s this fitness equipment.
This is a common one where you hook your feet under the “blue bar” and do sit-ups.
In the back alley one block to the east, you’ll find this.
A “spring bar” for doing pull-ups. You can kind of guess what this one is for from its shape, right?

Its use is way too mysterious. I want to learn how to use it properly!

It seems to be equipment for doing push-ups. You can choose a comfortable height using the grips on the upper or lower level and do push-ups with it.
The difference in height apparently changes the load on your muscles.
