It’s a free local media and social networking app that shares information specifically about Nishinomiya.

It’s convenient because you can easily search for nearby spots that are open right now, including restaurants, beauty salons, lessons and cram schools, public restrooms, and more in Nishinomiya.
It also has a chat feature with shop staff, offers special electronic coupons focused on Nishinomiya like this one, and sends urgent disaster prevention and crime prevention information via push notifications.
What is the Election Discount?

If you vote in the Nishinomiya mayoral election, 10,000 yen worth of electronic coupons will be issued in the “Nishinomiya CiPPo” app.
These 10,000 yen worth of electronic coupons can apparently be used at around 500 shops in Nishinomiya.
