The Cantonese restaurant “東照閣” in Ohatacho along Route 171 is temporarily closed.
↓Here’s the notice

The map is here↓
The address is 10-2 Ohatacho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.

If you go this way, you’ll find Chuo Athletic Park and Gusto, and if you keep going, you’ll reach Route 2 and Fudabasuji.

On the opposite side, there are Nissan Osaka and Volks; continue on and you’ll pass Yoshinoya and Maruhachi as you head toward Amagasaki and Itami.

According to the information we received, 東照閣 has apparently been operating at this location for over 40 years, so many Nishinomiya residents may have been going there since they were little. It’s known for its gentle, comforting flavors, and I’m sure many people think of this place when they hear fried rice or gomoku ankake yakisoba.
There are lots of blogs introducing 東照閣, so here are a few links.

According to the blogs, if you count from 1956, when the current owner’s father’s generation started the business, it has been in operation for 63 years.
The reason for the temporary closure is unknown, and we couldn’t confirm any planned reopening date.

最近行くと閉店していましたよ!
マスターがかなり体調悪そうだったので仕方ないのかもしれませんね。
最後に酢ラーメンを食べたかったです。
