Yesterday, May 29, fireworks were going off in Maishima around 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Apparently, they were part of a fireworks event held in Maishima for the world-famous super rock band QUEEN. There were 14,000 fireworks in total.

They said, “We could see the Queen fireworks from around Nigawa!”
So they were visible even from Nigawa. That’s surprising.

It’s a lovely video, with cars crossing the bridge and everything.
We’ll probably be seeing more fireworks festivals from here on. The Ashiya Summer Carnival will also be held, so it looks like we’ll be able to enjoy all kinds of fireworks this summer.
