Nagano Mascot Arukuma Is Coming to Kamikochi Azusa Coffee at LaLaport Koshien Tomorrow October 1 and 2

It looks like Nagano Prefecture’s mascot character “Arukuma” will be appearing at “Kamikochi Azusa Coffee” in LaLaport Koshien.

What is Arukuma?

Arukuma is Nagano Prefecture’s PR character. Apparently, it’s an extremely rare bear that appears in Shinshu.

It won the Yuru-Chara Grand Prix in 2019.

And now that bear is coming to LaLaport Koshien.

You might get some grapes

There will also be a quiz on the day, and participants may receive a three-variety grape pack (3〜5 grapes).

Grapes will also be on sale.

On the left is Shine Muscat, and on the right is probably Nagano Purple (apparently this one won’t be sold).

This is a variety called “Queen Rouge,” which can only be grown within Nagano Prefecture.It was first shipped only recently, in 2021

It’s said to be a premium grape treated on the same level as Shine Muscat. Since you can’t buy it in the Kansai area, it definitely sounds intriguing.

Finally

They’ll also be selling apples called Shinano Dolce. Sales are apparently scheduled from 11:00 to 16:00, but they’ll end once everything sells out, so if you want some, it might be best to go early.
