On November 9, we went to the unveiling event for the Christmas tree that appeared at the Main Entrance on the 2nd floor of the Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens Main Building.

This Year’s Christmas Tree Has a Whole New Look
This year’s Gardens Christmas tree is white! (←It’s so white you can’t see the text)White!

Last year and the year before, it was a green tree. They really went for a bold image change this year.

Apparently, this Christmas tree is made using recycled paper. Still, it looks so stylish.
Special Guest Takashi Fujii Appeared
Takashi Fujii appeared as a special guest at this unveiling event for “Gardens Meets Lisa and Gaspard.”

He said he chose his outfit for the day based on Lisa’s white and Gaspard’s black.

When Lisa and Gaspard stepped down from the podium, the little hop they did was adorable. Takashi Fujii even copied them.

Takashi Fujii said he has already put up a Christmas tree at home. Pretty early, apparently. (lol) It’s true, even earlier than Gardens.
When asked the secret to a happy marriage with Otoha, he said, “For both of us, it’s about not pushing ourselves too hard, so that the day feels fun.”

Also, it left a really strong impression how happily he talked to a mother and baby who had come to Gardens.
Looks Like There Are “Hidden Lisa and Gaspard” Around
Apparently, Lisa and Gaspard are hidden around the Gardens Main Building.

I think it’s kind of like Hidden Mickey.
There are apparently 15 hidden Lisa and Gaspard figures wearing flower decorations on their heads.
If you take photos, post them on Instagram, and follow the official Gardens account, you can apparently receive an original magnet.
Gift exchange location: Main Building 2F Information Desk (11:00-18:00 each day)
*Limited to one per person, available while supplies last.

It has that dreamland feel.
Apparently the Bread Is Selling Like Crazy
During the “Gardens Meets Lisa and Gaspard” event period, from November 9 to December 25, they are selling collaboration menu items.
It only started today, but apparently the “cornets” baked at Roggen Meyer on the 1st floor sold out right away. They hurried and baked a second batch, apparently.
Here they are↓

You can’t go wrong with cornets. No wonder these sell.

The Gaspard cornet on the left is chocolate, and the Lisa cornet on the right is custard cream!! 300 yen each They said they were rushing to bake a second batch.
The Collaboration Menu Looks Delicious
There are 10 participating shops in total, with what looks like 15 menu items.

Those who place an order will receive a limited can badge in November and a sticker in December as a gift, available while supplies last.

We recently did a dinner feature on Gardens, so check it out! There are also perks for Nishi2 readers.

Final Thoughts
The Gardens Christmas tree always gets us excited, and this year it felt even more fun and upgraded, with the hidden Lisa and Gaspard figures to search for and the all-white tree. There are also so many collaboration menu items that look delicious. It seems like Christmas at Gardens will be a lot of fun again this year. Nishi2 reader 時の旅人 also quickly let us know that the Christmas tree was complete! Thank you! They even sent us photos!
