It looks like the commercial facility opening in Matsuyama-cho has been named “Koshienguchi Green Place.”

When will it open?

Koshienguchi Green Place is scheduled to open on Wednesday, November 27, 2019.

What is Koshienguchi Green Place?

It’s a shopping center being developed by Kobe SC Development Co., Ltd., part of the JR West Group.
(Kobe SC is also developing the renovation of Mont et Mer, the commercial facility at JR Ashiya.)

Since it’s located away from the station, the press materials described it as a shopping center in an “off-station location.”

After “Suita Green Place” opened in Osaka in 2016, “Koshienguchi Green Place” will apparently be the second in the series.

The address is in Matsuyama-cho.

It will be built on the former site of JR West company housing.

“ハレノチ晴” is apparently a ramen restaurant that everyone from children to seniors can enjoy. They say ramen is free for children age 5 and under! It sounds like they’ll have a variety of side dishes too, so that’s something to look forward to. Here’s the Tabelog page for the Suita location.

What does the current construction look like?

It looks like a lot of the exterior wall work has already been completed.

It seems like construction is being divided into several blocks, and the exterior walls on the building on this side haven’t been completed yet.

As of November 5↓

Three weeks before opening.

It’s really starting to look complete.

You can see the ramen shop called ハレノチ晴 on the left.

This is the building that will house Seven-Eleven, カフェ英國屋, and others.

Several shops are hiring

There were several job listings for stores at Koshienguchi Green Place.

スギ薬局 was hiring staff. The hourly pay was higher on weekends and after 5 p.m. They also had nice employee discount perks, including 30% off cosmetics and 10% off daily necessities.

セブンイレブンハートイン was hiring opening staff. They also had a special opening hourly wage.

There will be a ramen restaurant, café, convenience store, drugstore, dry cleaner, cram school, and clinics.

Koshienguchi Green Place looks like it will become a pleasant shopping mall with a nice green atmosphere.

I think quite a few people will quietly be happy about getting a Seven-Eleven here. There aren’t many convenience stores around this area.
