I Tried the Jumbo Shrimp Tempura Bowl from the Tenshi Food Truck in Front of Furuno Electric【Nishikon Gourmet】

Welcome to “Nishikon,” a section where readers’ “I did this in Nishinomiya!” stories become articles.(It’s called Nishikon, but it has absolutely nothing to do with matchmaking or anything like that.)

This is a food report on the “Large Shrimp Tendon” from “Tenshi,” a new food truck that arrived in front of Furuno Electric on November 25!

They went to buy the “Large Shrimp Tendon” and “Large Shrimp Tempura” from “Tenshi,” the new tendon food truck that arrived on November 25ー♪

Previously, they had been coming every Friday as the curry bread food truck 小麦庵 志.

I went to the tendon food truck “天志,” which has been given a fresh new look.
The owner also seemed excited about this new challenge.

Large Shrimp Tendon (tempura broth sauce) 1,000 yen

It comes with 7 kinds of tempura in a crisp, light batter. When you think tempura, you think shrimp 🍤 and I was happy to see 2 pieces on top♪

Large Shrimp Tendon without rice 800 yen

I enjoyed the crispy batter and the refined flavor that brought out the ingredients. The frying was spot-on, too. In particular, the shrimp shells were thin enough that I could eat them all the way to the tail.

Since it was freshly fried, even the shiso leaf was super crispy 👍 I had never tried dashimaki tamago tempura before, but it was soft, melty, and delicious✨

For the sauce, you can choose from four kinds: tempura broth, grated daikon, garlic, and sesame. I want to try them all…!

They’re also apparently working on new menu items with different ingredients and sauces, so I’m really looking forward to what comes next.

Next time, on December 1 and 2, they’ll be selling seafood tendon for Furuno Electric’s “Fish Finder Day”. Look forward to it♪

On November 25, their hours were 10:00 to 13:40. Maybe it’ll be about the same next time.
