A greengrocer called “甲子園青果 氣張いやんせ” has opened in Koshien Kyubancho along Koshien-suji.
Here↓

It apparently opened on December 12.
Here it is on the map↓
The address is 1-9 Koshien Kyubancho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.

This spot used to be home to the banana juice specialty shop “Its motto banana.”
We’ve also written about “Its motto banana” several times on Nishitsu.

Across the street is Nagata Orthopedic Clinic.

If you go this way, you’ll reach Rinko Line, where the Tigers Lawson is on the corner, and the direction of Koshien Stadium and Koshien Station.

In the opposite direction, there are places like “HAPPYTUMMY BAKERY”, leading toward Hama-Koshien.
A Showa-era, rock-style greengrocer
They let us take photos inside the shop.

Since it’s a greengrocer, they sell all kinds of vegetables.

But there are also old signs with a seriously Showa-era vibe!

The owner apparently made the shop’s interior by hand, including the textured look of the corrugated metal.

They also sell things like canned mackerel, miso, and umeboshi pickled plums.

Strawberries were on a limited-time sale too.

They’re closed on Wednesdays, but it looks like they won’t be taking any more days off for the rest of December. Their hours are 10:00 to 18:00.
Final thoughts
The owner has a rock-and-roll kind of vibe and was very friendly, chatting with us about all sorts of things. He originally ran a greengrocer in Osaka for over 10 years. Since his family home is in Nishinomiya, he wanted to open a greengrocer here, which led to this new shop. His hobbies apparently inspired the Showa-era and rock-style look of the place. Personally, I absolutely love this kind of Showa retro taste.
