At the 25th “Developer Award Chosen by Tenants,” Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens won the Grand Prize for the third year in a row.
Apparently, the runner-up Grand Prizes went to Shin-Shizuoka CENOVA and LUCUA Osaka.
Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens has won four times in the past, and this time it achieved the incredible feat of winning three years in a row.

According to the source, although business hours were shortened by one hour, sales were about the same as before the COVID pandemic. Amazing.
On top of that, renovations of MUJI, FREAK’S STORE, OSHMAN’S, and others since last October apparently helped cumulative sales from last December through this February reach an all-time high.
Nishitsu also published articles on each of them, and every one of those articles was read a lot.
Last fall, Nishitsu also wrote an article called “5 Recommended Dinner Spots to Visit at Gardens.” They’re highly recommended, so definitely check it out! Unfortunately, the special offers have expired
Gardens is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, so I’m sure they’ll be rolling out something amazing again.
Finally
The runner-up Grand Prize went to LUCUA Osaka, which everyone knows. It’s incredible that our very own Nishinomiya’s Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens won the Grand Prize three years in a row!
Winning three years straight during the COVID pandemic is really something. Their ability to attract major tenants has been almost unreal, and that seems to have created a draw that brought more visitors to other specialty shops too, making many tenants happy. Gardens is the most interesting shopping complex in Japan. We’ll keep covering it plenty here on Nishitsu!
