A perfect, appetite-stirring look!
A rich chicken paitan soup. And yet it’s a magical soup you just keep drinking!
You can choose the soup richness from three levels: light, regular, or rich. I chose light. By the way, the shop recommends “regular.”
Here it is! Yuzu kosho grated daikon! I love yuzu so much.
When I tried the yuzu kosho grated daikon on its own, I could taste the sharpness of the daikon. It’s great when mixed in.
The noodles are thin. They have a strong wheat flavor, and the soup clings to them beautifully.
You can choose the noodle firmness from five levels. I went with regular! “Harigane → Barikata → Katameshi → Regular → Yawamen”
This chashu! It was super tender and packed with flavor.
There was a nice amount of chashu in the bowl too.
You can tell just by looking, and it’s exactly right! The seasoned egg was so creamy and soft.
The flavor was solid too, and it made me want just a little more.
